Just who is this person that calls himself a Nobody? The fact is I am a "Nobody." Please understand it is not that I am not proud of who I am. But when one spends a lifetime with famous people there are days when you ask yourself what happened to me? I never won an Oscar, an Emmy or a Tony award. I never won a gold medal in the Olympics. I never starred on a major TV show, or a movie or performed on Broadway. Nor was I ever a famous author—an author, yes, but not famous. I was never elected to a powerful political office.
To me, these achievements obviously meant something, as many of my friends accomplished these things. As you read you will learn about some of them.

I first met Daniel Mitrovich in 1986 when I joined the La Jolla Golden Triangle Rotary Club. I had recently been transferred by Dale Carnegie Training to San Diego to run our operations there. From the very beginning, Daniel changed my world for the better. With his characteristic generosity and enthusiasm, he took me under his wing and introduced me to many of San Diego’s most respected community and business leaders—people who trusted him implicitly and were proud to call him a friend. Through Daniel’s introductions, I formed relationships that became both lifelong friendships and valuable professional partnerships.
Daniel's influence extended far beyond the local community. Through his remarkable network and sincere desire to connect people for a greater purpose, I found myself meeting President Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter during his post-presidency years and spending a memorable day with then-Senator Joseph Biden—now former President of the United States.
